Synopsis
Country Sounds in Visaginas tells the story of a festival born in the fateful year of 1991, when the yearning for freedom, the American dream, and Lithuania’s newly won independence intertwined into one. It is a place where older idealists and a new generation in search of belonging meet, and where the rhythms of music become symbols of freedom, community, and the search for identity. Can the festival still bring people together and inspire new struggles for a place in today's world?
